今天看到Peter Morville发布在Slideshare.net上的幻灯片《搜索模式》（Search pattern），这是他在信息架构2008年会上的演讲之一。他也把更早些时候的另一个演讲信息架构3.0的PPT发布在Slideshare.net上。
在二月份的时候，小容看到他在Flickr里发布了一大堆的截图，他说自己正在写一本叫做搜索模式的新书，叫朋友们评论他收集的资料。
同月，看到Read/Write Web的Blog作者从新西兰惠灵顿Webstock会议现场发回来的报道《可搜寻性–搜索的未来，来自信息架构专家Peter Morvillle的观点》，Peter Morville在现场演讲关于“搜索模式”和“可搜寻性”方面的话题。
很快时间就到了四月份，这次他带来了53页的幻灯片，看来他的新书构思已经基本完成了。

Slideshare has a special feature Event which let people keep conversation from offline to online. You could talk on related issues with speakers at there even though you didn’t attend the event.

Hi, Olive. Thanks for your great post. I began to read IA for World Wide Web long last year. Now I’m still digesting it slowly. I have to admit that book is great. And I’m thinking if I can switch to be an IA with this book’s help. Also I have a copy of Ambient Findablity with myself. After finishing reading IA, I decide to delve into that mystical book.
Speaking of special O’R animal books covers, I agree with you on this point. It seems to a good brand marketing strategy. When I first read IA, I thought about the cover, but didn’t figure out why a polar bear relates to what the book is about. So I’m looking forward to your next nice post on that.
PS: Slideshare is a big gem for me.
